There are many companies who offer web hosting as a service, some are cheap, some are expensive and others don't charge at all. Very confusing.

We offer to simplify the whole aspect of web hosting. We buy space and provide you with cost effective fast and reliable web space.

The servers are fast and reliable, incorporating high end technology, and connected to the internet with impressive multiple 100mb/s connections. The Equipment is monitored every hour of the day 7 days a week and every day of the year.

The server software is optimised to deliver your web pages blazingly fast, with the latest versions of apache and perl. The servers are not over populated with thousands upon thousands of web sites either, so server uptimes are always well over 90%.

We can provide the excelent development tools PHP4 and MySQL as well as PERL and SSI. Together they make a fantastic tool for creating full e-commerce and database applications.

Services

Each one of the sites you create, comes with as many POP3 accounts as you wish with unlimited aliases, telnet, cgi/perl, PHP4 and MySQL[1] as optional. Frontpage extensions are also available as an optional extra per virtual server.

Each web site comes with its own site administration tool:

MySQL

Terms and Conditions

The Servers do not allow ROMS, ADULT, WAREZ, Illegal MP3 Sites or IRC bots (Chat rooms).

SPAM is taken very seriously. Users must not participate in any form of un-solicited bulk e-mailing or spam either though our servers or through another ISP's servers whilst advertising a site or otherwise hosted on the servers. Offenders of this policy will have their account cancelled without notice and with no refund of monies paid.

You may not store more data in your account than your alloted space.

By logging into your account, or uploading files to it, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Your virtual server (including FTP and Telnet access) is for your own personal use only. Please do not divulge the password to any other person, and please take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not discovered by other people.

Data stored on our servers is not guaranteed to be backed up. It is recomended that you keep an independant backup of all data stored in your space.

You may not run server processes (e.g. talkers/IRC bots) from your space. Sorry, No Chatrooms, they bog down the servers.

We will not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services.

When your account is closed, all files (including web pages, etc.) will be deleted.

We reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to amend and update these terms and conditions at any time without notice.

To protect your privacy we never distribute your name or e-mail address to any third parties.

Users must not participate in any form of un-solicited bulk e-mailing or spam through the servers. Complaints are taken very seriously.

By logging into your account, or uploading files to it, you are indicating your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

CREDIT

We are unable to offer any form of credit.

If your account/service is activated before any payment is made then payment must be sent in by full return.

If payment is not made in full within 14 days all technical support will be revoked. If payment is not made in the following 7 day period your account will be deleted from our services and all DNS services will stop. You will not recieve any e-mail.

If your account is cancelled and is later re-activated, an administration fee of £50 will be levied to your account.

TELNET

Telnet shell accounts are made available for editing and setting up your web site. It is not a development platform for issues unrelated to your web site.

You must not leave your home directory at any time.

You must not attempt to gain privelages of another user.

Interfering with the following files will result in your telnet access being removed - .bash_history
.bash_logout
.bash_profile
.bashrc

BANDWIDTH

If your bandwidth reaches the points where it has an adverse affect on other clients we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwitdth usage.

Your space includes a nominated amount of bandwidth, if you use more than this amount then you agree to pay for this bandwidth at a rate of £50 per 1gb usage

WEB PAGES

Commercial use of web and ftp space is permitted.

You may place adverts on you site.

We do not place advertisments on your web pages.

You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law.

You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietory material available via your page(s).

We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. Adult/warez/Illegal MP3 web sites are not permitted on the servers.

THE FOLLOWING ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE SERVERS:

Prices

Please contact us regarding web hosting prices as websites can be offered from as little as £25 per year dependant on circumstances, use, function and traffic to the site.

Questions & Answers

This section will attempt to answer any questions you may have. You may need us to clarify more points for you, in which case, please contact us for more information.

Are there any charges for transferring a domain to use in my space?

No. You will need to arrange the transfer with the ISP who holds the name and then set up a DNS record in your RCP.

What type of servers do you run?

Our servers are purpose built, powerful web servers. They run Red Hat Linux 6.2 with the Apache web server. We also have Perl, PHP4 and MySQL installed, offering you a complete site development solution.

Do you offer ASP hosting (Active Server Pages)?

No, as our servers are based on Linux (and not NT) we cannot support ASP.

Do you offer FrontPage 2000 hosting?

Yes. We can support FrontPage 2000 extensions.

Do you offer company credit terms?

We cannot, at this time, offer any form of credit terms. All orders are paid for in advance.
